Our full line of Chuck Mates works on all standard tire valve stems. By standard, we refer to the Schrader valve type stem, which has a technical designator of 8V1. For all you technical persons, that is a thread pitch of 0.305” - 32TPI.

CAN I USE CHUCK MATES WITH A PORTABLE AIR COMPRESSOR?

Yes, if your portable air compressor screws onto the tire valve stem of your car, you can screw it onto a Chuck Mate instead and never have to screw around with it again! Also, use the “open type” Chuck Mate, as portable tire inflators generally do not tolerate the “closed type” quick-connect.

IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SPEED-CLIP AND QUICK-CONNECT?

No. They are the same, just different terms used for the function of a Chuck Mate.
